The Mission
Our mission is to unite all Ghanaians residing in the DV, Maryland Virginia Metropolitan Area, USA, to
promote the social and economic wellbeing of registered members, and support and encourage cordial
relationships among its members. We also support and provide relief for deprived communities when a
need is identified and during disasters.

Looking Ahead
The association is seeking to grow its membership to 75 by year end 2024. There are plans to acquire a
center in the future to expand the work of the association in the community. There are also plans to
reach out to other institutions for grants and financial support.
